Del worked with my wife Traci
for the past few years at MSU in the Office of Regulatory Compliance. Their
office is like a small family. Traci has told me many times how much Del
means to her and the rest of the office. Del had a gift from his heart,
which made everyone's day at the office a little
brighter and easier to manage, whatever the day had in store for them. Their
office duties dealt with issues that were sometimes stressful and not always
appreciated by the MSU campus. It was especially comforting to me to know
that Del was there to bring a smile to my wife's face on days that weren't
going so well and to remind her and the rest of the office what was really
important in life, whether it be in a friendly conversation, a smile or his
gift of presence alone. The love and support he gave to Traci and the rest
of the office, as well as his family and friends, is a standard we should
all live by. THANK YOU Del, for the love in your heart that you
unconditionally opened and shared with all of us. We will miss you!
